The Station's temporary activation is all about fun and creativity in a unique heritage setting. While its long-term use is being planned, The Station is being enjoyed as a pop-up community hub for events, shopping and recreation.

The site features:
- a huge outdoor piazza with sheltered tables, seating and adjoining lawns for picnics
- pop-up retailers stocking jewellery, clothing, books, gifts, homewares and art
- a mix of market days, festivals, creative workshops, fitness, music and foodie events
- a kids corner, scooter track – and plenty of room for exercise and play.
